World football: Summary of 2024-25 football season

Season 2024-25 was spectacular as well as surprising. FIFA introduced expanded Club World cup in 2025 hosted by USA. We witnessed PSG winning their first ever Champions League title, after 14 years of continued investments by Qatar Sports Investments. League winners didn't have many surprises, but domestic knockout tournaments saw unfamiliar names in finals.
